Our wastewater treatment plant now has a 500kW diesel generator that can provide back-up power to the lift station and the entire plant. Per TCEQ guidelines, we are required to have a generator at the plant.
This generator was purchased with City funds and Fort Bend County American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Funds. The total cost of the project was $241,566 and was part of our Capital Improvement Plan.
