• A customer became upset when asked by the clerk for ID to purchase tobacco products, and the customer then threw candy bars at the clerk.

• The customer then left the location, as the clerk retrieved the suspect’s vehicle description and LP.

• Surveillance video of the incident is pending.

• Investigation Status: Open

03/11/26 Alston Dr.

• Overnight, unknown persons broke into a trailer and removed several pieces of lawn equipment.

• The trailer was attached to the victim’s truck, which was parked on the street in front of his residence.

• The serial numbers of two items were entered into TLETS as stolen.

• There were no witnesses, forensic evidence or surveillance video found.

• Property Value: $867

• Investigation Status: Suspended

03/10/26 House of  Chandeliers

• An officer on a business check found that one of the front glass doors was broken out.

• A witness (homeless) stated that several hours prior he saw a male walking in front of the business throw a rock through the window. The witness stated the suspect was talking to himself and possibly had mental issues.

• There were no surveillance cameras that captured the incident.

• CID was called to the scene but found no forensic evidence.

• Damage Estimate: $1,000

• Investigation Status: Suspended

03/14/26 Mulholland Dr.

• A resident was contacted in October of 2025 by a person claiming to be with an airline who accused him of fraudulently purchasing flights.

• He was transferred supposedly to the FBI New York Office, who stated he was being investigated for money laundering, and there was a warrant for his arrest.

• The “FBI” then said he could pay the amount of the warrant which was $150,000.

• The resident found the number for the FBI seemed legitimate, and so he continued communicating with them, and continued to send them money through bank wire transfers.

• Total Financial Loss: $262,000

03/18/26 Northern Tool

• A male attempted to make a purchase, but his credit card was declined. He then left the store.

• The male returned about an hour later took a battery charger and then left the store with it and without paying.

• The incident was captured on surveillance video, and the store manager retrieved the suspect’s vehicle description with LP.

• Property Value: $199.99

02/28/26 Kirkwood Rd. / W. Airport Blvd. *Driving While Intoxicated

• A driver swerved to avoid a collision with a rapidly braking vehicle in front of her.

• Her car rolled over onto the curb and impacted poles protecting a fire hydrant.

• Upon officers’ arrival, there were other vehicles at the scene, and no witnesses.

• EMS evaluated the driver, who refused transport.

• The driver showed signs of intoxication. She refused SFST’s but consented to blood draw.  At the hospital, she recanted consent, so a warrant was obtained.

• After blood draw, she was transported to the Fort Bend Co. Jail.

03/17/26 Walgreens *Fail to ID-Fugitive / Warrant Other Jurisdiction

• Officer responded to check welfare on a male who was sleeping in the loading dock area.

• Contact was made with the male who was uncooperative and combative.

• Officer  attempted to check him for weapons, but the male began to physically resist.

• He was detained, given a CTW (Criminal Trespass Warning), and then transported to the Fort Bend Co. Jail.

• At the Jail, an AFIS check identified him, and found he had a confirmed warrant out of Harris Co. for Dangerous Drugs.

• The male was transported to the Fort Bend Co. Jail.

03/19/26 W. Airport Blvd. *Fail to ID-Fugitive / Warrant Other Jurisdiction

• While on patrol, Officer checked a vehicle on her in-car computer and found the description did not match.

• She stopped the vehicle and the driver verbally identified herself.

• Through investigation, it was found that the driver falsely identified herself, and that she had 2 confirmed warrants out of Jefferson Co., and 4 unconfirmed warrants out of Harris Co. Precinct 5.

• The driver was arrested and transported to the Fort Bend Co. Jail.
