Traffic Signs, Post's & Street Blades
Throughout fall and winter the public works will be out replacing the old sign posts with the new square yellow post. The signs will also be replaced if needed.
Curb repair
- Curb inspection will also take place throughout Fall and Winter. Once this is complete a contractor will follow up to make the repairs.
Sidewalk Repair and Maintenance
- Approximately 1,500 L.F. of sidewalk will be repaired or replaced in the fisical year of 2008-2009.
- Approximately 6,500 L.F. have been replaced in the last five years.
- Most of the major trip hazzards have been repaired and hopefully this year we will catch up with those and give some attention to sidewalk sections that hold water after rains and the sections that have a lot of cross slope.
- Residents are welcome to report sidewalk that they think are in need of repair or replacement. The City Inspector will visit the address, inspect the sidewalk section in question and make the needed repairs if needed.
