There are three key areas currently being developed in Meadows Place. The first is 11555 West Airport, which is going to be the lastest location of the Kelley's - The Best in Country Cookin'. The Kelley family selected Meadows Place to be the seventh in a series of very successful family owned locations in the greater Houston area. After looking at several locations that met criteria, they selected Meadows Place because "it felt right". The target date for opening is June 15, 2011. Hmmmm Good.
The second development that is underway is the conversion of the old Deauvill Mall (Garden Ridge-Sams) location on Dorrance & Hwy. 59 . The worlds largest internet auto dealer, Texas Direct Auto, has requested a Special Use Permit to use that location as part of their expansion. They plan to beautify the 'retail' area, add park fcacities, new sinage, etc. There is a public hearing on June 28th to discuss their request.
The third exciting area is now under development is the addition of Tradicau Brazillion Steakhouse to our corporate family. They are among the top in their field and will add great food and a bit of prestige to what used to be Pappas. They expect to be open by Father's Day 2011.
