WATER - The Future is Now

The City of Meadows Place doesn't want to be caught high and dry  in it's attempts to meet the Ground Water Conversion requirements of the State of Texas. This is a very big deal and will affect the price and availability of water for decades to come. The City of Meadows Place is moving forward with plans to partner with WCID (Water Control Improvement District) # 2 to meet the projected mandates. These include 30% Ground Water Reduction (GWR) by the year 2010, 70% by  2020 and 80% by the year 2030. WCID #2  has been preparing for this for years and is well positioned  to be able to meet the demands Surface Water Conversion. If our negotiations are successful, and we have every reason to believe they will be, then our Partnership with WCID #2 puts us years ahead of many cities in meeting these requirements assuring that we will be able to continue to provide everyone with clean, safe water.
